Exciting Updates and Changes

The Southern Colorado Juneteenth Festival is set to take place at the Citadel Mall this year. Unfortunately, funding for the festival and many programs has been cut. This news can be tough, but we are confident in our ability to overcome these challenges. With your support, we believe this year's festival will be as successful as previous ones.

Recently, during a Facebook Live event, the team from OneBodyEnt reached out to the community. They emphasized the need for support. Many donations started coming in. Businesses also began reaching out to offer their assistance. One eager supporter was the Citadel Mall, which many of you may know is home to OneBodyEnt's space.

New Location for the Festival

We are pleased to announce that, following constructive discussions, the Citadel Mall will host the 2025 Southern Colorado Juneteenth Festival. The festival will take place outside the mall, specifically in the parking lot nearest to the former Baby's R Us.

Benefits of the New Venue

This new location comes with numerous benefits. It offers:

• Ample Parking: There will be plenty of space for everyone attending the festival.

• Access to Public Transportation: This ensures that everyone in the community can easily reach the event.

• Convenient Access to Mall Amenities: Attendees will have access to the various shops and services within the mall.

• Better Setup: The festival will take place on gravel rather than grass, which can be more convenient for vendors and guests alike.
